Branding Photography ~ AtSource Recycling's Brand Transformation

 

For over two decades, AtSource Recycling has been a premier supplier of waste and recycling equipment in both Canada and the United States. Since 1998 the company has continually strived for excellence in providing custom, cost-effective solutions to meet the diverse needs of the waste and recycling industry.

Capturing the Essence of the AtSource Brand

Recently, AtSource Recycling went through a re-brand. This meant a fresh new logo, creating a revamped website, and creating a new library of images to showcase their business. The primary goal of the rebranding was to enhance the company's online presence, reinforce its brand recognition, and amplify awareness of its services.

With so many working parts of the business, we honed in on areas that would showcase the team, their services and products, and fit alongside what was being designed for their new website.

On the pre-shoot strategy call, we devised a plan for shoot day to make sure we’d capture all the important pieces of the business, and highlight the top values of AtSource - customer-centric, approachability, superior service, accountability, confidence and professionalism. Here are the two areas we decided to focus on with the branding images:

1. The team: the services team is the heart of AtSource Recycling. We wanted to share the team in two ways: through a set of consistent portraits, and capturing them them in action ‘on the job’.

2. Products: AtSource is an environmentally conscious company committed to reducing the negative environmental impact of waste and recycling. There are many products they work with, and we decided to visit four locations of where their products are in use to show them in different areas, and get photos of the team servicing the bailers and compactors.

How has branding photography elevated this business?

  • It creates a sense of relatability to the team by showcasing who they are.

  • It increases brand trust by showing the team in action in real-life situations alongside their own products and their own team

  • Having a consistent and customized image library does away with trying to use stock imagery to try and portray the heat and soul of your brand. It gives a sense of realness, authenticity and transparency.
