It is beyond heartwarming to see businesses step into service during this challenging time. My inbox and social feeds have been full of offerings and outreach. I’ve curated a list of some of the amazing resources that are available for either a low or no charge at the moment. This list includes resources for business, health and wellbeing and creativity. Small Business Support

Small Business BC

SBBC are hosting Digital Meetups - community video calls for the small businesses community during COVID-19. Every working day they’ll be exploring a different topic specific to small businesses (eg how to generate revenue, employment law) and connecting with local small businesses to hear what they’re doing during this time. Jenna Kutcher - Marketing

Jenna Kutcher, online Marketing Expert ran a 90-minute Facebook Live and it is absolutely chokka block full of magic around mindset, marketing strategies, messaging suggestions, and ways for you to prepare for when things pick back up. Check it out here.

Women’s Enterprise Centre

WEC are holding all their events online for the moment and have a range of webinars including around Leadership and Financing. See the schedule here.

Health & Wellbeing

Vancouver fitness instructors

A group of yogi's, dancers and fitness instructors based in Vancouver have banned together to support each other and their community as we all navigate the Covid-19 crisis. They have created a channel where you can find various styles of 20-30min classes to practice from home. All proceeds are divided equally amongst the instructors. Creative Live

“Master your craft, your passion, or something new with creative classes taught by the world’s best.” An enormous online resource that is full of courses taught by experts around all things creative from photography to lighting, finance to podcasting, business, cake decorating, floral design and time management. Creative Live is currently streaming their Physical Health and Mental Wellness classes for free 24/7. Click here for more info.

Community

Yellow Co.

Yellow Co. is a community of women that brings together people, tools, resources and holistic emotional and spiritual support to help you merge who you are with the work that you do, all to serve the greater good. They hold two annual conferences and their NYC one has now been taken online and turned into a Worldwide Virtual Experience.

This will be a full day virtual gathering on June 26th 2020 for women to intentionally come together to navigate what it looks like to create meaningful work in the world. There are Covid-19 discounted rates and also a buy one give one rate to attend (sale ends and prices increase March 31st). Check out all the details here.

Women in Tech

Women in Tech World, a Canadian national nonprofit dedicated to creating community driven plans and educational programming to support and advance women in tech. Their online membership is free until the end of April. Amongst other community building activities are daily virtual coworking sessions, 1:1 virtual coffees, and virtual monthly meetups. Learn New Skills

450 Ivy League Classes

Courses across a whole range of subjects available including: Personal Development; Humanities; Social Sciences and Business (including some awesome sounding courses from the University of Pennsylvania such as Entrepreneurship Growth Strategies; Social Impact Strategy:Tools for Entrepreneurs and Innovators and Global Trends for Business and Society).
